Speculation is rife that TISM played their last-ever show at Melbourne's Hi-Fi bar on September 26, 2003. Here is what victims have been saying ...

I don't think they have, they'll probably make some noise about it being a reunionion tour whenever the next one happens.. there was a _lot_ of filming going on, including some interviews with punters post show, so a dvd might be in the works.

Tism have split up! You will see this when the Save our Tism DVD is released. We look forward to the reunion tour next year. To quote Eugene De La Hot Croix Bun 12 months ago "Tism will never split up, we don't spend enough time together to get sick of each other."

Implying that TISM have split up without a doubt increased their bank balances - how much extra merchandise do you think they sold by preying upon the nostalgic nature of die-hard TISM fans? An opportunity to make a few extra bucks and clear out old merchandise - this is clear but to what end? To make a last buck? To make a buck full stop?

Although the 'Save our TISM' gig was quite a song and dance, I would expect from TISM or any band playing their final gig to make a bigger effort - either headline in their own right without a support act or to have a well-known support act. Besides they had a practice gig the night before (or so I was told). That sound like a band who doesn't care anymore?!?

I'd say the DVD theory is entirely plausible.
And do an official break up show too. That would really get the punters in.
And then next year do a reunion show.
And then the year after that do a 'this really is the last time' reunion show a la Johnny Farnham.
And then the year after do a 'this is really, really the last time' show.

How can a band like tism be allowed to play such offensive and piontless music? In my day music bands were seen and not heard! This group of people otherwise known as tism quite clearly have nothing better to do with their time instead they write songs which make no sense. But tism are not the only band who should be taken and tried for witchcraft; performers such as slipknot, marilyn manson, korn, AC/DC, the Offspring, Creed and the Beatles should be hung for their crimes against music!
